An eclectic blend of soul, blues, and rock has produced the sound known as Coastline. From hard driving Carolina back beats, to Georgia southern rock, from Cajun inspired grooves, to Texas and Delta blues; Coastline truly defines the sound of historical Southern music. With finesse, the pure forms of southern music are transformed into a modern contemporary art form. https://jimquick.com/ 325 Mangrove Drive EmeraldIsle, NC 28594   (252) 354-2740

For Reserved Seating and VIP Call Betsy@ 617-750-9005 or just shoot us a message. With his towering height and powerful voice, Bryan Mayer, is making a BIG impact on the country music scene. A North Carolina native, the six foot seven singer/songwriter began his journey in music when he was 13. The son of a US Marine Corp Colonel and a Navy nurse, while stationed in Quantico, VA, Bryan was tapped by his middle school teacher, Dr. Drake, to play upright bass in the school band, for his already impressive height of 6’1” in the seventh grade. Although Bryan enjoyed playing the bass, the lore of the front man aspect and realizing he could sing led him to pick up the guitar. After some impromptu performances at keg parties at his house in college at ECU, Bryan ended up on the Carolina sands of Oak Island, NC. It was there that he started crafting his style and gutting it out in any bar, restaurant, or private party that would hire him. “Everyone would always tell me that I was going to make it someday. Some wondered why I hadn’t already,” says Mayer. “I knew this was what I was put on earth to do.” http://bryanmayermusic.com/ 325 Mangrove Drive EmeraldIsle, NC 28594  (252) 354-2740

Crystal Coast Summer Festival

July 2, 2017 | 4:00 pm-10:00 pm

The Crystal Coast Summer Festival is a community event hosted on July 2nd at Big Rock Landing on the Morehead City waterfront. The Festival runs from 4-10pm featuring live music, NC local seafood, beverages, street vendors, and beautiful waterfront views. The mission of the festival is to honor our active duty and retired military with proceeds from the event benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. We feel that the 4th of July weekend is the perfect time to honor our nation’s history, active and retired duty military, while at the same time supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. Gates open at 4pm with street vendors, drinks, and fresh local NC Seafood. Chairman of the Board goes on the main stage live at 5pm, bringing soulful sounds to the Morehead City waterfront. Chairman of the Board has been a staple of the music community since the 1970s and they continue to impress coastal crowds today. Following Chairman of the Board’s performance, The Breakfast Club cranks up at 8pm. The Breakfast Club is the longest running, most recognized ’80’s tribute band in the United States. Formed in 1993, the group was the first of its kind. The mission was simple: create an entertainment group that embodied the enigmatic, creative, and buoyant spirit of music and live performances of the original MTV generation of the 1980’s. That mission remains today. General Admission tickets are available with a $5 suggested donation, VIP tickets and more information are available online at www.CCSummerFest.com. All ages are welcome and families are encouraged to attend. Wear your red, white and blue to the event and celebrate and honor with us! Big Rock Landing Morehead City (252) 773-0641

Band of Oz @ Salt

July 14, 2017 | 8:00 pm-11:00 pm

For VIP/Table Reservations. Please contact Betsy: 617-750-9005 or  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it In the mid sixties the group known as Band of Oz had its humble beginnings in eastern North Carolina (Grifton) . It was a bunch of grammar and junior high school guys ( because no one was old enough to drive) being hauled around in Ray Houston’s Chevy station wagon pulling a little red trailer. The group at that time was called The Avengers. As the mid sixties would have it the band was a guitar and keyboard group playing the sock hops at area schools, private parties and an occasional club whenever the owner would risk having them. The later part of the sixties saw the group bring in a horn section which brought a big change in the music. Freddy Tripp (Band of Oz, Dynamic Upsetters, Embers, Shakers, Breeze Band etc.) and Jimmy Smith were the first horn players. Until the name change around 1970 three members of the group had remained the same Johnnie Byrd, Buddy Johnson and Keith Houston. As area available players (school mates of members) ran out, the band got its first player from the Greenville, NC Chuck French on trumpet. When the name was changed to the Band of Oz in 1970 most of the group was from the Greenville area, Chuck French / Trumpet, Gary Warren/sax, Randy Hignite/Keyboards , Jim Heidenreich/drums, all of Greenville and Johnnie Byrd/bass, Buddy Johnson/vocals and Keith Houston /guitar. Around 1971 another long time member Billy Bazemore replaced Buddy Johnson on vocals. Through the early seventies they continued playing the Frat parties private functions and clubs in the southeast. In late 1976 the band now comprised of members from Raleigh to Greenville decided to try it as a full time band. Members were Chuck French /trumpet, Bob Lynch/sax, Ronnie Forbes/keyboards, Shep Fields/bass, Freddy Tripp (returning)Trumpet, Billy Bazemore/vocals, David Hicks /drums and Keith Houston /guitar. They hit the road traveling extensively in the Southeast playing the club circuit. http://bandofoz.com/ 325 Mangrove Drive EmeraldIsle, NC 28594 (252) 354-2740
